In order to organize systematic and focused work to achieve at the national level the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (hereinafter - the UN) adopted at the UN Summit on Sustainable Development in September 2015:
- To take into account that the Republic of Uzbekistan has joined the international agenda for sustainable development, voiced at the UN Summit, and has committed itself to implement the Sustainable Development Goals at the national level until 2030.
- Approve:
the composition of the Coordinating Council for the development and implementation of measures to adapt the UN Sustainable Development Goals in accordance with Appendix No. 1;
the composition of thematic working groups on the development and implementation of measures to adapt the UN Sustainable Development Goals in accordance with Appendix No. 2;
work plan for adapting the UN Sustainable Development Goals in accordance with Appendix No. 3;
list of tasks for the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals considered by the responsible thematic working groups in accordance with Appendix No. 4.
- The leaders of thematic working groups to organize effective work on timely and high-quality implementation of the Work Plan for adaptation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, approved by this decree.
- The control over the execution of this order is entrusted to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Azimov RS
